3. SHAMSIA HASSANI

  • WOMEN'S RIGHTS AND DIGNITY

4. PLANT-FOR-THE-PLANET

  • COMMON DESTINY OF HUMANITY AND EARTH

Selection criteria: candidates who protect peace where it is threatened, help to rebuild it, facilitate dialogue. Particular preference is given to those who show solidarity and assistance in need, with attention to people of all ages and conditions, in a bond of mutual commitment.

Selection criteria: laggression against Ukraine is a violation of other people's freedoms. It is also violence against people and things that recalls tragedies that we thought had been overcome in Europe. The award recognizes heroic examples of journalism from the front which, in addition to attesting to the torment of the victims and the arrogance of the oppressors, documents the spirit of survival and mutual aid among civilians.

Selection criteria: for over two centuries, the principle of respect for the person and his dignity has been fully accepted among the fundamental rights of man - a term that neglects women, half of humanity. Efforts are underway throughout the world to promote the dignity of all, men and women. The award contributes by honoring contemporary examples of the struggle in favor of total gender equality, so that the barriers to women's emancipation are broken down even at the cost of risk, even at the greatest personal sacrifice.

Selection criteria:  the Earth and Humanity are unique, complex and, let's face it, sacred entities. Part of a vast evolving universe, both possess the same destiny, threatened with destruction by human behavior. The award honors those who, aware of the seriousness of the situation, favor change in minds and hearts; who strengthens the social contract between human beings with the natural one between us and nature; and who promotes that magnificent multiplicity of interdependent and complementary life forms necessary for the survival of both: planet and life.
